Remember me? Thank you for all the emails of concern. I'm still here - and everything is OK. While summer is full of fun and loads of family time, I had no idea how full our summer would be. The blog has clearly taken a back seat for now. I'm slowly getting back into the groove because honestly, I miss being here in my happy place. And I really miss you guys!
Our kitchen garden has flourished this summer! We've never had such perfectly beautiful tomatoes before. I'm not sure why, but it could be due to the marigolds? Anyway, I'm taking careful notes in hopes that next year we will have the same success. I'm also starting to think about our fall garden, but for now find myself holding the watering hose mostly. Because I can't really plant anything for at least a few more weeks, I plan to do my best to get organized and ready. I've always loved terra cotta pots and have a supply stacked and waiting on the potting bench at all times. These images really inspire me. I love how the pots are visible in outdoor spaces rather than tucked away waiting be used.
