Pamper Yourself

Few things are as luxurious as taking a nice long bath - especially in the winter.  Carving out a little time for yourself can make all the difference in how you feel and you never know; your family might thank you.  You come out feeling fresh, pampered, and relaxed.  Know what I mean?  You can keep the process as simple as you wish, but I have a few things that make the bath experience even better.

Relaxing music  The Beats Pill is an amazing little invention!  Connects wirelessly to your i-phone.  Our boys both received one for Christmas and I'm amazed by the sound quality.  Comfy slippers for after the bath - I do not have the Tory Burch slippers, but Mom does.  And I can assure you that are worth every penny.  Scrub - The Laura Mercer scrub is a favorite of mine.  It has a nice scent and leaves my skin feeling so soft!  Bubbles - I'm a big fan of the Philosphy line.  Just pour a small amount into the bath for bubbles that leave your skin feeling and smelling nice.  Hand cream - Frequent washing and winter conditions leave my hands feeling and looking rough!  L'Occitane Shea Butter hand cream is one of the only hand creams that works for me.  Wine - Maybe wine ins't your thing, but whatever you enjoy, why not serve it up in a pretty glass?  Polish - Now that the sparkle and color of the holidays is behind us, I'm rediscovering my old favorites.  Essie Ballet Slipper is definitely one of them.  Soft jammies - I'm all about soft sleepwear and these are perfect!  Candle - No bath relaxing bath is complete without dimming the lights and lighting a candle.  A friend gave me a diptyque years ago and I've been hooked ever since.  They are pricey, but worth every penny.
