This girlfriend has been busy making pillows. It doesn't look like I will ever make a slip cover for the sofa. Every time I come close, I divert with a new pillow. Pillows are such an easy and inexpensive way to change the feel of a room. I picked up some yardage and went to town. Here are just a few that I have made recently.
We have two wing chairs on either side of the fireplace, so I made a pillow for each chair.
Here in the dining room, this pillow was made from leftover fabric from my attitude chair. You do remember the attitude chair don't you?
I made four pillows for the sofa. Two are from leftover fabric from the dining room window treatments (love to use what I have) and two are made of this linen that I scored at my discount fabric store. I trimmed them with twill tape and used Heat and Bond to attach the twill to the pillows...a little trick I learned over at Sweet Something Designs. The only problem is Michelle's pillows are much prettier than mine.
