May I Ask A Favor?

 Last Sunday someone bought our old sofa and we made a quick road trip to IKEA to pick up the Ektorp.  Of course assembly was required, definitely a first for us as most sofas come already assembled.

Anyway, here is what it looks like.  The scale is perfect for this room and we are all very happy with our choice.  We are also happy with the zebra ottoman that I blogged about here.  If you are in the market for an ottoman, this was a great buy from Walmart ($50) and there may be a few left.  The plan is to recover it and that is where I need your input.  Mom bought the tree of life pillow for me the other day at Marshalls which I love and want to use as the inspiration for the room.

I was thumbing through one of my favorite books and found this fabric pairing that I thought would work.
It reminds me of the new tree of life pillow and shows different fabric options that work with it.

I had never considered and ikat, but the idea is growing on me.  I also like the smaller Schumacher pattern.  I'm not really sure whether to go with a small pattern or a large one, a multi-color pattern or a two color (brown and white) one.  Any thoughts?

Also in the room are two wing chairs which I would love to recover one day, but for now, I can make them work with the right pillows.  I have some ideas, but I would love to hear your thoughts.
