The other day I posted an inspiration board for my sun room. I wanted to share what has been done so far.
I started by painting the far wall with paint leftover from our front door. The color is BM Stratton Blue - just a tad darker than Whythe Blue. What I love about it is when you enter the front door, the door color is repeated in another room.
Yesterday I spent much of the day painting the wicker white - it had been black. Now that the sun is shining, I can see that some spots were missed. Looks like I'll be spending much of today painting wicker as well :) Last night Mr. hung the wall lamps for me that were previously in another room and not being used.
Hoping to play up the green cushions I opted for botanicals keeping to a green and white color story. This definitely helped incorporate the green.
I used these inexpensive frames from Micheal's with a coupon and spray painted them white. The botanicals were printed from here.
There is still much work to be done, but the room is beginning to take on the look I was hoping for.
