Doggie Love - Reader Mail

Well, at least I got your attention.

I had an entirely different post planned for today, but when a note from a reader popped into my inbox yesterday, I had to call an immediate "cease publishing".

Before I go forward, I want to thank everyone who reads my blog.  A special thanks to those of you who take the time to leave comments, send emails, and tell me you enjoy reading Cottage and Vine when I see you around town.  It means so much to know that something I do inspires others.

That said, yesterday when one of my readers sent this email with photos, I couldn't wait to share them with you.

Back in September, Ava emailed me asking about the second bed  I made for our dog, Mattie Gray, for Christmas.  As it turns out, after finding my blog, Ava made a couple of beds for her puppy dogs and here is one of them.

I love this room.  Period.  And the fact that the dog bed works with the decor is so stinking cute.

Here is Hatcher on his bed.  I think he likes it.  Could he be any sweeter?  By the way, she found the towels at Ross.  Aren't they great?  Also, Ava is a much better seamstress than I am and she added a zipper closure to the beds making them easier to wash.  The total cost was $14 each.

Just to make this story even better, Ava is an advocate for pet adoption and she adopted these two sweet puppy dogs.  They are so fortunate to have an awesome mom who loves them and makes them pretty beds.

Do you have a project that was inspired by Cottage and Vine?  I would love to share it with everyone.  Email me @ cottageandvine@triad.rr.com
