Back, But Barely...

How was your weekend? As suspected, we saw the first snow of the season in the mountains of Ashe County, NC. It was a beautiful snow which really upped the festive spirit.

This is our tree.  It was sitting on the top of a hill in 5"+ of snow.  What an adventure it was...

Above you see Darrell, my step father, and Mr. Elliot, owner of the tree farm, cutting the tree.  The Elliots are the sweetest people I have met, ever.

We did a little shopping and so did Mom and Darrell's girls.  Here we are in a Re-Store.  No luck here, but I did find some goodies at another Re-Store over the weekend.

This adorable face was looking at me for about an hour on the way home yesterday.  Her name is Rose.  Isn't she a sweetie?
