Do Over

Thanks to everyone who left comments about the bathroom.  You never know how these projects are going to turn out and what kind of reaction they will receive and let's be honest - we want others to like what we do.  So thank you :)

Over the weekend, I had my sister-in-law take a few pictures of us for a Christmas card.  A couple of things you should know first: we didn't pack the clothes that we were supposed to pack ("we" this time meaning the teenager) and, the teenager is wearing slippers.  Nice.

I really wanted a picture of us holding hands.  I love to see families together this way.  It is warm and happy and apparently not cool.  So "we" started acting very silly.  Photos bring out the good and the bad.  Why did I think this would not look like a maternity top?

Back up and start over.  This time let's be a little more silly.

OK, let's just forget it and do the monkey walk, unless you are a cool teenager wearing slippers.

Maybe another day.  Capturing the perfect photo is never easy, no matter how old the kids are.
