Welcome to the New Year, Favorite Drop Cloth Projects, and a New Sponsor

Welcome to the new year! I hope that everyone enjoyed the holidays and emerged with renewed energy and enthusiasm for 2011.  As sad as I am to see the boys go back to school and Mr. go back to work today, I am excited about the new things that I will be sharing with you over the next couple of weeks.  The holiday sponsorship was so well received, I plan to continue it into the new year.  If you are interested in advertising a small business or etsy shop, email me for affordable rates.  In addition to new sponsors, stay tuned for giveaways that will be announced very soon and I think you are going to love them.  Also, the cottage and vine etsy shop kicked off just before the holidays.  I will be adding a few more burlap goodies for the home as well as vintage table linens.

Last week, I hosted a drop cloth projects party.  Thank you to everyone who linked up!!  While all of the projects were wonderful,  I wanted to share a few of my favorites.

If you think the front of this chair is gorgeous, wait 'til you see the back!

 Loft & Cottage
Casey lined these gorgeous panels with canvas for the light blocking benefit.
A neighborhood party just got better.

This bed-skirt could not be any more beautiful if it was made of exquisite linen.

By using tutorials from Pink & Polka Dot, this camel back sofa got a pretty new slip cover.

With a drop cloth and a little nail head trim, this table has a whole new look.

I can't wait to try a few of these myself.  I case you missed the party, go here to see all of the projects.
