On-line Client: Part 2

Thank you for all of the nice comments you left on Friday's post! As promised, today I will share a few more pictures of the entryway. Please keep in mind, the project is not complete. The front door has been primed, but has not yet been painted.

New lighting, hooks for storage, wall color, and a new rug were on the wish list for the foyer.  In this image, the walls had already been painted the new color.

Here is the mood board I created for the space.  As always, these are suggestions and then my clients have the final say.

As you can see from the above image, my clients added the extra rug by the door and a different hook system was implemented.  We opted for hooks around the corner on the adjacent wall leading to the playroom rather than hanging them just inside the door.  Also, we decided to go with a different lamp that was better suited for the high traffic area.  The pop of red is a fun welcome.

I love this shot from upstairs!  Honestly, it reminds me of my own home where 90% of the time the pillows are on the floor among other things.  If you missed the post about the family room, you can read about it here.  My clients are not afraid of taking on inexpensive diy projects to improve their home.  The butterfly prints you see in the foyer as well as the fern prints by the tv were printed from Vintage Printable (free).  They are all framed in inexpensive frames from ikea.

The upstairs received a pretty new lantern, and a fresh coat of paint on the walls and knee wall cap (had been oak).

A wall of photos was added to the landing and is visible from the foyer as well as the upstairs.

This family has been very good to me!  We are now working on a master bedroom plan and I feel certain there will be pictures to share very soon.
