Back in the Saddle

Last week was 100% relaxing and I soaked up every second making me ready to jump back in the saddle.  I did not take a computer, but managed to check out pinterest occasionally on my phone.  Hopefully I can catch up on my favorite blogs soon.  I feel so outta touch.  The only downside of unplugging on vacation is that my inbox had 300+ emails when I got home.  How do you feel about unplugging - is it a good thing or a bad thing?

Vacations are special family times for us and while we were away it suddenly became apparent that our oldest son only has 2 more spring breaks before he graduates from high school.  What the what?  Needless to say I took a lot of pictures, but I won't bore you with all of them.  Here are just a few...

We love hiking and make it a point to do a little climbing each time we go to the desert.  It is always an adventure.

Rick and I would sneak in an early walk down the greenway before the golfers in the morning to have a peek at the pretty homes.  Rumor has it that Clint Eastwood lives in this area.  Hmmm...

I have a weakness for self serve frozen yogurt so we had to make an emergency stop.  If you are curious - anything chocolate with mini dark chocolate chips.

It snowed in the mountains the night before we left.  It always amazes me to feel the hot desert air and to see the snow covered mountains off in the distance.

Okie doke...now for a big ole' reality check.  Appointments, lax & swim practice, groceries, work, laundry, schedules.  Boo.
