Our deck and patio area has been an ongoing project. I mentioned earlier that a new dining table, chairs, and bench were part of the plan.
As luck would have it, I waited until the chairs and table were on deep discount. I texted the mister a picture and he said, "buy it now"! No need to tell me twice.
He is planning to install a built-in bench in between the two arbor posts and we are waiting on another chair which has been ordered. I love how everything is coming together - at very little cost.
My succulents outgrew their pots so I planted hot pink mums in their place and marched them down the center of the table.
The other day, I had a couple of feet of rope cut at Lowes and attached it to this old lantern for some extra texture. Before, I hardly noticed it and now with the addition of the rope, it really grabs my eye. By the way, the striped pillows came from My Pillow Studio, the sponsor of the giveaway.
Last weekend, Rick took the light fixtures down and gave them a good cleaning. He also painted them a glossy black which really spiffed up the look.
The globe lights were such a great addition and in the evening this space really feels like a room. We are trying to spend every minute out here that we can before the cold weather sets in.
And now for our winner...
Congratulations Melaine!
Thanks to everyone who entered the giveaway and a special thanks to My Pillow Studio for sponsoring the giveaway! Have a great weekend everybody!
