My Overdue (and Over-hyped) Coffee Station

Hi friends!  First of all, happy hump-day!  Secondly, I'm not sure if over-hyped is a word, but let's all play along.  I figured it was high time I share the coffee bar with ya'll, which by the way, all the folks here at COTTAGE AND VINE are enjoying.  Yes, most of us are coffee drinkers - at least during the school year, once swimming starts.  Before I share pictures, please keep in mind that it isn't perfect, but if I wait until then you would never see anything that goes on around here.  I'm still searching, stewing, obsessing, over what color to paint the sideboard and cabinet that hangs above it (not pictured).  It is currently a grey that clashes (yes clashes) with Gray Owl (the wall color).  So, if you have any thoughts on color, please share.  And when I say color, I mean neutral-ish :).

Here she is.  This area works because it is away from the lunch making station, away from the sink, and away from the stove & microwave.  With 4 people scurrying around, it's kind of nice to have things spread out so we aren't all trying to get to the same tiny corner.

We're also really enjoying having everything right here where we need it instead of tucked away in the pantry or cabinet.  This really stream-lines our mornings.

We grind our beans every morning and I looked everywhere for a white metal canister.  Sounds easy enough right?  I finally found this Martha Stewart one at Macy's.  Actually you may have heard me.

So...if you have thoughts on a color for the sideboard, please share.

P.S.  Have you entered the giveaway?
