As fall makes its way into the scene, I'm not quite ready to give up my shorts. Actually, I rather like the idea of long sleeves with shorts and have embraced this look all summer. One of my favorite shirts is this denim shirt. I also have it in chambray which I wear probably more than I should. They both pair nicely with patterned shorts like these polka dots. I also like the look of shorts with boots, especially wellies. Last weekend I broke out the wellies for our mountain trip and they came in handy during the brief but persistent rain showers. And did I mention that my eyesight is fading? Yep. Warbys are on my wish list. There's just something alluring about that nerdy look, no? And finally, I broke out the new fall nail colors. Actually, I was ready to say good-bye to white and pink - at least for now.
