My DIY Bulletin Board | An Update

A little over a year ago I shared my DIY bulletin board.  Since then I have received lots of emails about it asking how it has held up over time.  I'm happy to report that it is still hanging in there (ha, couldn't resist) and doing fine.

My office is located in our sunroom which has one brick wall, one paneled wall (see it here and here), and two walls lined with windows.  The natural light in this room makes me a very happy girl! The bulletin board hangs directly above my desk so I'm always adding something to it and changing things out.  I like to pin invitations, keepsakes like this party decoration, and it's a great way to keep track of projects too.

I'm not sure if I've talked about the desk before on the blog, but it came from IKEA (a couple of years ago) and I switched out the hardware with the gold ring pulls which made a huge difference!  I can't find the link to the hardware site, but if I do, I'll add it this post.  The parson's chair came from World Market (also a couple of years ago) and I chose the block print slip cover to introduce a neutral pattern in the room.

For questions about paint colors, lighting, the bulletin board how-to, go here.

Here's a tiny peek into the family/living room and dining room beyond.  Just outside the window is the deck/patio area.

I hope you have a great Monday!
